The Ostrich Inn is situated amongst the fields of North Norfolk, betwix Fakenham and Burnham Market on the B1335.

The first recorded licensee of The Ostrich Inn was a Mrs. Mary Softley in 1846; The Ostrich was one of 7 drinking places in South Creake at that time but is now the only one still trading as a public house. Much has changed in the village since 1846, as has The Ostrich, some of the original oak beams remain in the bar area. landlords and tennents alike have changed the pub and added to it to ensure it remains an up to date and viable business.

One such extension is the 'Barn', our function room, above which are 2 bed and breakfast rooms, another ground floor room is across the courtyard, nearer to the car park.

The Ostrich Inn is an ideal place to base a holiday, situated just a few miles from the North Norfolk coast. We are 16 miles from Hunstanton to the west, 28 miles from Cromer to the East and just 7 miles to Wells-Next-The-Sea.

Inland lies Fakenham 6 miles, Dereham 18 miles and Norwich 30 miles.
